Christmas Eve lobsters at Alicat & Joe’s. Magnifique.

Bobby Van’s on 50th. Just above Times Square fray. Yet close enough to walk to see Farinelli & the King, The Parisian Woman, or Meteor Shower. The food is average, but it’s lively and fun. Plaques above our corner table featured Eric Trump and Michael Flynn. Collusion!

The Milling Room proved to be better than the first time we went. Cod perfectly cooked, duck dishes excellent. A vast interesting space.

Not as successful, Italian restaurants on Columbus. Tried Pappardella for a family dinner. Crowded, noisy and lousy over-frozen shrimp. Pomodoro friendlier but inferior quality & sauces.
